With a view to enhance its polyester yarn production capacity, PT Indo Kordsa Tbk, Indonesia's leading producer of nylon yarn, polyester yarn and cord fabric, plans to spend US$ 30 million in capital expenditure during 2012.

Indo Kordsa's Assistant General Manager for Finance and Accounting, Cuneyt Tekgul, said the proposed expansion would equally be funded through company's ownership capital and external funds.

The external funds would flow in through foreign investments and bank loans, Tekgul added and said the company is eyeing a vigorous financial growth.

Andreas Lesmana, Indo Kordsa Corporate Secretary, said the sum allocated for the proposed capacity enhancement would mainly be utilized for enhancing the firm's polyester yarn production capacity by 25 percent from the existing 18,000 tons per annum to 26,000 tons per annum.
