MEG prices up, PSF & POY trends dip

Paraxylene (PX) prices went down in Asian markets. In S E Asian region, PX price hovered in the range of US$ 1415/ton to US$ 1420/ton. In F E Asian countries, PX price was marked in the range of US$ 1415/ton to US$ 1425/ton. In Chinese market, price surged up and was assessed at US$ 1420/ton.
In Asian markets, PTA prices remained stable. In F E Asian and S E Asian region, PTA prices were in between US$ 1085/ton to US$ 1095/ton. PTA imported from Taiwanese market was quoted around US$ 1090/ton. In Chinese market, PTA price was marked in between RMB 8350/ton to RMB 8450/ton.
In S E Asian market, Ethylene price went down to in the range of US$ 980/ton to US$ 985/ton. In F E Asian market, price was in the range of US$ 980/ton to US$ 990/ton. In European domestic market, price was in the range of € 895/ton to € 905/ton. In N W European market, Ethylene price was at US$ 1175/ton (on CIF base). In U.S.A market, Ethylene price was in the range of 49.00 cents/pound to 49.75 cents/pound.
MEG price increased in S E Asian markets. MEG was offered in the range of US$ 1125/ton to US$ 1130/ton. In Chinese domestic market, MEG price was in the range of RMB 8700/ton to RMB 8750/ton. In European market, selling offer was in the range of US$ 1205/ton to US$ 1215/ton.
In S E Asian region, BG PET Chips price remained stable in between US$ 1615/ton to US$ 1640/ton. In F E Asian markets, selling offers were around US$ 1640/ton for export goods. In Chinese market, BG PET Chip went up and was offered at RMB 11800/ton.
In Korean markets, FG PET Chips prices were marked in the range of US$ 1450/ton to US$ 1460/ton and in Indian market, FOB based price was assessed in the range of US$ 1460/ton to US$ 1470/ton. In Chinese market, FG PET Chip hovered at RMB 10650/ton to RMB 10750/ton.
PSF price declined further in Asian market. PSF offers hovered in the range of US$ 1680/ton to US$ 1690/ton. In S E Asian market, PSF offers were around US$ 1690/ton. In Chinese domestic market, PSF offers declined in the range of RMB 11600/ton to RMB 11700/ton.
Polyester POY prices dropped down in Chinese domestic market. POY prices slipped down and quoted at RMB 12400/ton. FDY and DTY selling offers were unchanged and marked at RMB 12800/ton RMB 14800/ton, respectively. In export market, offers for POY, FDY and DTY were at US$ 1695/ton, US$ 1740/ton and US$ 2030/ton, respectively.
