The handlooms and all crafts expo being held at Tiruchirapalli in the south Indian State of Tamil Nadu is drawing visitors in large numbers.
The expo, organized by the Tamil Nadu State Handicrafts Development Corporation, is showcasing handloom and handicraft products worth two million rupees.
The products on display are from various States and special attractions are sungadi saris and silk saris from Hyderabad, Rajasthan and Madurai.
There is a wide range of products for the buyers to choose from as various products like embellished window curtains, pillow covers, cushion covers, door curtains and silk bedspreads all made in Jaipur, amazing paintings on silk cloth, decorative wall paintings and paintings from Thanjavur and Moradabad handicrafts are all showcased at the expo.
The Tamil Nadu State Handicrafts Development Corporation is expecting to sell Rs. 800,000 worth of handlooms and handicrafts at the expo.
