Slip & furniture cover retailer Sure Fit buys Patio Armor

Sure Fit Inc., the leading manufacturer and marketer of slipcovers, furniture covers and other home accessories, announced it has acquired the assets of the Patio Armor brand of covers for patio furniture, barbecue grills and other outdoor products from Trilink Global, LLC. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
"The Patio Armor brand will immediately strengthen our portfolio of solution-oriented covering products for the home," said Hugh Rovit, chief executive officer of Sure Fit. "This acquisition is an excellent fit with our stated growth strategy to expand our category leadership position thru both organic means as well as synergistic, bolt-on acquisitions that (a) expand our product line with complementary brands and categories, (b) increase and extend our market penetration and (c) provide for sourcing, operational and distribution synergies," he added.
Tom Atchison, who has served as Director of Sales of the Trilink business since 2008, has joined Sure Fit as Vice President of Sales – Outdoor Division.
