Tefron to produce seamless apparel using Cifra warpknit

Tefron is once again leading the fashion market and announces a new line of products based on a seamless "warpknitting" technology that will allow Tefron to produce unique lingerie and sports products while creating a competitive advantage.

Under the agreement Tefron and Cifra will co-produce and market worldwide products to Tefrons customers.

Cifra is the leading global manufacturer of seamless warpknitting technology products.

Tefron's CEO Mr. Amit Meridor said: "This is a commercial breakthrough. With Cifra's technology and our creative and innovative production solutions Tefron will be the only and largest player in the world market which offers circular and warpknit seamless solutions. I believe that the exclusive cooperation with Cifra will be a significant step in the success of both companies".

Cifra's CEO Mr. Cesare Citterio said: "Only those who can make innovations and realize new and complex high quality products can globally compete in all markets. We welcome Tefron as our partner and we feel that both companies have a huge opportunity leveraged by this agreement".

Tefron is a market leader in the field of apparel, serving customers in the U.S. and Europe. Tefron focuses on developing, producing, marketing and selling undergarments, athletic wear, beach and swimwear.

Cifra, an Italian-based privately-held company engaged in warp knit seamless and carries out the activity of producing, selling to retail clients and wholesale, projecting and distributing a wide range of industrial textile products such as tights and seamless garments, pantyhose, socks, intimate apparel, active wear and swimwear and other seamless tissues through chassis "Rachel - Jacquard" doubleneedledbar and has developed specific cutting-edge technologies for the machineries manufacturing the products named "WKS" technologies.
