The inventory level of national cotton industry in China was about 38.5 days in January 2012, which is 2.4 days more than the average level in the past three years, says a report.
Inventory of national cotton industry was about 1.0511 million tons in January, up 20.7 percent from the previous month, but down 2 percent from a year earlier.
This inventory level also represented an increase of 5.3 percent compared with the average inventory over the past three years.
The report was released by the National Cotton Market Monitoring System.
