The sixteenth British Wool Sale of the 2011/12 Season was held by the British Wool Marketing Board at Wool House and offered 1,965,154 kilos.
The sale opened strongly with widespread bidding and a much higher level of demand than of late. As a result the market strengthened by an average of 1%, achieving an 85% clearance.
