PX trends move up, PTA & ethylene stable

Paraxylene (PX) price increased in Asian markets. In S E Asian market, PX prices were in the range of US$ 1640/ton to US$ 1645/ton. In F E Asian region, PX prices were in between US$ 1635/ton to US$ 1645/ton. PX imported from Taiwanese market stayed unchanged at US$ 1635/ton.

In Asian markets, PTA price remained stable. In F E Asian and S E Asian region, PTA prices were in between US$ 1195/ton to US$ 1205/ton. PTA imported from Taiwanese market was quoted around US$ 1200/ton. In Chinese domestic market, PTA price was stable around RMB 8950/ton to RMB 9050/ton.

In S E Asian market, Ethylene price remained stable at US$ 1355/ton. In F E Asian market, price was in the range of US$ 1340/ton to US$ 1350/ton. In U.S.A market, ethylene price was in the range of 64.75 cents/pound to 65.25 cents/pound. In European market, Ethylene offers were in the range of US$ 1525/ton to US$ 1530/ton.

MEG price was stable in S E Asian markets and was offered in the range of US$ 1070/ton to US$ 1080/ton. In Chinese domestic market, MEG price inclined up in the range of RMB 8200/ton to RMB 8300/ton. In Chinese domestic market, MEG offers prevailed around US$ 1080/ton.

In S E Asian region, BG PET Chips price was stable in the range of US$ 1645/ton to US$ 1655/ton. In F E Asian markets, selling offers were around US$ 1655/ton for export goods. In Chinese market, BG PET Chip offered at RMB 11850/ton.

In Korean markets, FG PET Chips price was in the range of US$ 1550/ton to US$ 1560/ton and in Indian market, FOB based price was assessed in the range of US$ 1545/ton to US$ 1550/ton. In Chinese market, FG PET Chip hovered at RMB 11100/ton to RMB 11300/ton.

In PSF market, further price fall was arrested and in N Asian region, price was in the range of US$ 1722/ton to US$ 1727/ton. In S E Asian market, PSF offers were around US$ 1620/ton. In Chinese domestic market, PSF offers did not change in the range of RMB 11900/ton to RMB 12000/ton.

Price of Polyester POY was stable in Chinese domestic market. POY price was around RMB 12000/ton. FDY and DTY selling offers were at RMB 12500/ton to RMB 13400/ton, respectively. In export market, offers for POY, FDY and DTY were at US$ 1640/ton, US$ 1700/ton and US$ 1825/ton, respectively.
