In the just concluded week, price of Cotton Linter increased by RMB 30/ton and slightly went up to RMB 4200/ton. In the last update, price was in the range of RMB 3770/ton to RMB 3870/ton. Buying sentiment remained moderate, whereas trading offers were in between RMB 3760/ton to RMB 3860/ton.
In the reporting week, price of dissolving pulp declined. In Chinese domestic market, price declined in the range of RMB 8450/ton to RMB 8550/ton.
Price of imported dissolving wood pulp in China was stable in the range of US$ 1050/ton to US$ 1080/ton. Offer price hovered around 1100/ton, but counter offers did not cross the level of US$ 1080/ton.
Dissolving pulp imported from U.S.A, Canada and Spain were in the range of US$ 950/ton to US$ 1150/ton. Pulp imported from Sweden was at US$ 1000/ton while from Russia it was at US$ 1300/ton.
During the week, price of VFY remained stable at RMB 45150/ton. Earlier price opened at RMB 45200/ton with a support of demand fundamentals. In Chinese market, offers for imported VFY hovered in the range of US$ 6500/ton to US$ 6600/ton.
During the previous week, price of VSF increased to RMB 16050/ton. Earlier price opened at RMB 15820/ton, but with support of demand fundamentals, trading price went up to RMB 16050/ton.
In Chinese market, offers for imported VSF hovered in the range of US$ 2.20/kg to US$ 2.25/kg. Market experts believe that price should be range bound around US$ 2.17/kg in near future.
