Indigo New York - a successful textile design event

On April 10th and 11th, 2012, Indigo New York held its summer 2013 textile surface and design collections. 83 exhibitors presented their artwork, an 11% increase compared to last year's April event. The famous Promostyl forecaster exhibited for its first time as well as Print Tank Print Design Studio, Tigerlily Design, and Studio Isabel.
1,065 visits were recorded over the two-day show, with a very high level of satisfaction from the studios about the quality of buyers and designers. Among the visitors were industry leaders such as A Pea in the Pod, Abercrombie and Fitch, Aeropostale, American Eagle Outfitters, Anne Taylor Loft, Anna Sui, Bealls Department Stores, Ferrari Group, Kate Spade, LL Bean, Michael Kors, Nanette Lepore, Perry Ellis, PVH, Saks Fifth Ave, TJX companies, Vera Wang, and many others.
Betsy Zanjani, Vice President of design and Merchandising from Forever 21 quoted “We took the red eye from Los Angeles to attend the show and are impressed season after season by the imposing array of qualitative choices.”
Moya Donnellan, Director-Color/Trend/CAD and product development for Fashion Bug quoted “Once more, amazing offer! We really enjoyed the digital and photo realistic flowers, ethnical themes with a mix of natural elements, oceanic scenery, animal themes and dense geometric scarf prints.”
Elisa Miller Creative director for Calypso, said “I never miss Indigo New York where I seek inspiration, creativity and discovery. It does crystallize your vision and direction as a fashion creator. I'm never disappointed, always inspired.”
Fall Winter season 13/14 will kick-off July 11th and 12th, 2012 with Première Vision Preview New York (fabrics and accessories) followed by Indigo New York on July 31st & August 1st.
