At the Annual General Meeting, Mr John Talbot – Chairman of Johnson Service Group PLC makes following statement:

“The Group has successfully completed two significant acquisitions within the Textile Rental and FM divisions and overall has traded in line with management's expectations during the first four months of the year.

The Textile Rental division is performing well and completed the acquisition of the Cannon Textile Care business and assets with an effective date of 30 March 2012. The integration and restructuring of the business is progressing well.

The integration of the Nickleby business acquired in February by our FM business, SGP is continuing to plan and we are beginning to see the benefits of employing new working practices and systems.

The Drycleaning division continues to be affected by the low levels of consumer spending against the difficult macroeconomic backdrop, and has seen a small reduction in like for like sales in the first four months of the year.

We remain confident in achieving a satisfactory overall result for the full year 2012 and despite the continuing harsh economic environment, we feel very positive about the prospects for the Group.

A further update will be given in the pre-close statement at the end of June.”
