TV TecStyle will once again take place in Stuttgart

The vast majority of exhibitors welcome the biennial running of the leading European trade fair for textile finishing and promotion, the TV TecStyle Visions. This is the result of a survey carried among exhibitors at this year's event. The majority of visitors also approve of the event taking place every two years.

The two-year trade fair cycle, which has been in place since 2000, has always been subject to discussion. The TV advisory board and the two organisers, gmk Veranstaltungsservice GmbH and Messe Stuttgart, have now announced the new date, in line with the wishes of exhibitors and visitors: the eighth edition of the TV TecStyle Visions will be held in two years, from 13 to 15 February 2014, and it will once again take place as part of the EXPO 4.0 association of trade fairs. The association celebrated its premiere this year and was very popular with its 404 exhibitors and 13,966 professional visitors.

The TV TecStyle Visions 2012 with 10,266 professional visitors who primarily or only came to Stuttgart for the TV TecStyle Visions saw another record attendance. The main theme of the newly set-up association of trade fairs EXPO 4.0, which the TV trade fair founded in 2000 has been part of for the first time, was visual communication. The influx of 13,966 professional visitors exceeded all expectations. In addition to the well-established TV TecStyle Visions, the umbrella association EXPO 4.0 also includes the trade fairs wetec, POS Masters and Digital Signage Tec.

The TV TecStyle Visions 2012 presented product innovations and novelties from the areas textile printing, embroidery, flock, transfer printing and digital textile printing. While the main focus was on the new trends rhinestone and laser, the latest promotional wear collections (which were presented at fashion shows several times a day), the Golden Shirt Award and the TV specialist forum were also met with great interest by the visitors.

The organisers Messe Stuttgart and gmk Veranstaltungsservice are hoping to build on the current success of the leading European trade fair. To this end they are planning to further improve the very popular supporting programme to meet visitor interests.
