Chinese textile machinery sales up in Jan-March

Revenues of the Chinese textile machinery industry grew year on year in the first three months of 2012.

Between Jnuary and March 2012, the industry realized main business income of 23.129 billion Yuan, up 10.80 percent year on year.

Total assets of the textile machinery sector grew to 80.12 billion Yuan, an increase of 14.39 percent from the same period, last year.

There are around 708 textile machinery producers in China, of which 15 are large, 69 are medium-sized enterprises and 624 are small businesses.

Between them they provide employment opportunities to around 12.80 million people, an increase of 0.91 percent year on year.
