PX, PTA & MEG prices rebound, PSF prices dip

Paraxylene (PX) prices went up in Asia. In S E Asian region, PX price surged up and was offered in the range of US$ 1225/ton to US$ 1230/ton. In F E Asian region, PX prices were quoted at US$ 1210/ton. PX imported from Taiwanese market went down and were quoted in the range of US$ 1200/ton to US$ 1205/ton.

PTA prices surged up in the Asian region. In S E Asian market, PTA prices went up were quoted in the range of US$ 920 to US$ 925/ton. In F E Asian market, PTA prices were offered at US$ 915/ton. PTA imported from Taiwanese market plunged down and were offered in the range of US$ 890/ton to US$ 895/ton. In Chinese domestic market, PTA prices went up and were offered in the range RMB 7075/ton to RMB 7125/ton.

Ethylene prices gave mixed reaction in Asian countries. In S E Asian market, Ethylene prices went down and were assessed in the range of US$ 920/ton to US$ 925/ton. In F E Asian region, Ethylene prices were offered at US$ 930/ton. In U.S.A market, Ethylene prices dropped down and were assessed in the range of 39.00 cents/pound to 39.50 cents/pound. Ethylene prices remained stable in European international and domestic markets went down, and were offered at US$ 1105/ton and € 895/ton, respectively.

MEG prices surged up in the Asian market. In S E Asian region, MEG prices were offered at US$ 845/ton. In China market, MEG prices declined in the range of US$ 820/ton to US$ 825/ton. In Chinese domestic market, MEG was offered in the range of RMB 6375/ton to RMB 6425/ton.

In S E Asian region, BG PET Chips prices stayed steady in the range of US$ 1290/ton to US$ 1310/ton. In F E Asian market, selling offers were around US$ 1300/ton for export goods. In Chinese market, BG PET Chip prices remained steady and were quoted at RMB 9000/ton.

In Korean market, FG PET Chips prices stayed stable and were quoted in the range of US$ 1180/ton to US$ 1220/ton. In Indian market, FOB based price were quoted in the range of US$ 1220/ton to US$ 1260/ton. In Chinese market, FG PET Chip prices went down and were offered in the range of RMB 8625/ton to RMB 8675/ton.

PSF prices went down in the Asian region. In F E Asian market, PSF prices plunged down to US$ 1395/ton. In S E Asian market, PSF selling offers were offered at US$ 1295/ton. In Chinese domestic market, PSF prices remained steady and were offered in the range of RMB 9775/ton to RMB 9825/ton.

In Chinese domestic market, Polyester POY, DTY and FDY prices stayed steady and marked at RMB 9600/ton, RMB 11000/ton and RMB 9400/ton, respectively. In export market, offers for POY and FDY stayed stable and were offered at US$ 1260/ton and US$ 1235/ton, respectively while DTY price went up at US$ 1465/ton.
