Building on a long history of experience and knowledge in their respective fields, DyStar and Tuscarora focus on offering new, cutting edge solutions for their customers.

ProTura Cotton is one fiber solution that Tuscarora offers to brands, retailers and their industry partners. This cationic form of cotton enables textile mills to reduce up to 50% of the chemicals, water and energy usage in the dyeing process.

Blending regular cotton with ProTura cotton allows designers and product developers a fast, flexible and more sustainable manufacturing process to create heather, pin-striping and bi-color effects in garments.

DyStar and Tuscarora are combining the strengths of both teams to provide brands, retailers and their industry partners unique fiber, fashion and chemical solutions. The first team initiative offers the industry new methods to achieve colored denim.

The combination of Tuscarora’s ProTura Cotton, DyStar’s pre-reduced Indigo and Lava Chemicals & Dyes enables designers & product developers to create endless color combinations in denim while saving time, money and reducing the environmental impact.

In addition, brands, retailers and their industry partners will be able to react rapidly to deliver the in demand fashion and color trends without building excessive inventories.

The DyStar and Tuscarora team strives to deliver innovation and value to their customers.
