From inkjet to latex, from textiles to environmentally friendly films, there are many and varied possibilities of efficient, intelligent and effective communication. The theme exhibition does not only present innovations and document industry trends; in combination with presentations by exhibitors, best practices and live talks it is also a source of inspiration for entirely new ideas.
Eco Future primarily focuses on the burning environmental issues: Which materials and print media are particularly environmentally friendly? How can the production of print media use resources efficiently? What measures can minimise emissions generated by media production? How big is the CO2 footprint of products and production? How can materials be recycled? Information, presentations and project examples provide answers to these questions. Ample time for discussions with manufacturers and market participants at the trade fair stand also offers a broad networking base.
Sustainability cannot be limited to ecological considerations, however. The two other aspects are also catered for at the special exhibition. Economics, in particular, is highly important since it opens up potential for the future. In this context, a primary focus is on defining sustainable products which offer added value to both producers and consumers. The social perspective will not be left aside, however.
The motto of viscom 2012 which opens its gates in Frankfurt is “Experiencing new perspectives”. This promise will be fulfilled at the Eco Future special exhibition.
