Invista showcases LYCRA fiber with W Technology in India

The Meet was previously conducted in Mumbai, Chandigarh, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad and Lucknow. Year after year, in its pursuit of finding the next favourable market, the Meet explores new markets to bring to light its business potential for the intimate apparel industry. Patna was selected as the as the venue for the 6th Lycra Buyers and Sellers Meet as a result of the city's developing prowess. The intention of the Meet was to bring to light Patna's immense market potential with regards to the intimate apparel trade.

At the event, Invista showcased its latest innovations LYCRA fiber with W Technology, LYCRA BEAUTY fabrics and its recently launched India specific narrows branding platform with LYCRA fiber:

LYCRA fiber with W Technology, or LYCRA fiber T279W, has a package of enhancements that improves visual and physical fabric uniformity with an optimised lustre, colour-blending, and new proprietary spinning technology.

LYCRA BEAUTY fabrics provide the scientific foundation for essential shapewear versatility - ranging from firm control to featherweight smoothing and from understated elegance to high fashion style.

Invista had recently unveiled the new Narrows branding, created only for India. This comes as a response to the industry demand of LYCRA brand identification for garments that contain LYCRA fiber only in narrows. While educating stakeholders about the benefits of LYCRA fiber in intimate apparel, Invista also discussed with potential partners the scope of technical and marketing support that they can provide for overall profitability.
