PX prices marginally up in Asian markets

Paraxylene (PX) prices went up marginally in the Asian region. In S E Asian region, PX prices increased and were offered in the range of US$ 1405/ton to US$ 1410/ton. In F E Asian market, PX prices were quoted at US$ 1390/ton. Prices of PX imported from Taiwanese market declined and were assessed in the range of US$ 1400/ton to US$ 1405/ton.
 
PTA prices remained steady in the Asian market. In S E Asian market, PTA prices remained stable and were offered in the range of US$ 1000/ton to US$ 1005/ton. In F E Asian market, PTA prices were quoted at US$ 995/ton. Prices of PTA imported from Taiwanese market inched down and were assessed in the range of US$ 990/ton to US$ 995/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices moved up and were quoted in the range of RMB 7550/ton to RMB 7600/ton.
 
Ethylene prices remained unchanged in the Asian market. In S E Asian market, Ethylene prices continued to be stable and were quoted in the range of US$ 1085/ton to US$ 1090/ton. In F E Asian region, Ethylene prices were assessed at US$ 1030/ton.
 
In the US market, Ethylene prices rose and were offered in the range of 48.50 cents/pound to 49.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices stayed unchanged in European international and domestic markets, and were assessed at US$ 1105/ton and € 1045/ton, respectively.
 
MEG prices continued to be stable in Asia. In S E Asian region, MEG prices were unchanged at US$ 915/ton. In China market, MEG prices went down and were in the range of US$ 910/ton to US$ 915/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices fell and were assessed in the range RMB 7075/ton to RMB 7125/ton.
 
In S E Asian region, BG PET Chips prices remained unchanged in the range of US$ 1320/ton to US$ 1350/ton. In F E Asian market, selling offers were around US$ 1300/ton for export goods. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices were stable at RMB 9550/ton.
 
In Korean market, FG PET Chips prices were stable in the range of US$ 1190/ton to US$ 1230/ton. In Indian market, FOB based prices were offered in the range of US$ 1230/ton to US$ 1270/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices decreased and were assessed in the range of RMB 9500/ton to RMB 9550/ton.
 
PSF prices remained stable in the Asian market. In F E Asian market, PSF prices were quoted at US$ 1445/ton. In S E Asian market, PSF selling offers were quoted at US$ 1345/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices were stable in the range of RMB 10150/ton to RMB 10200/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, prices of Polyester POY, DTY and FDY stayed stable and were quoted at RMB 10650/ton, RMB 12000/ton and RMB 10650/ton, respectively. In export market, offers for POY, DTY and FDY remained unchanged at US$ 1430/ton, US$ 1605/ton and US$ 1415/ton, respectively.
