PX prices plunge in Southeast Asia

Paraxylene (PX) prices declined in the Asian market. In S E Asian region, PX prices plunged down and were assessed in the range of US$ 1435/ton to US$ 1440/ton. In F E Asian market, PX prices were offered at US$ 1430/ton. Prices of PX imported from Taiwanese market went up and were quoted in the range of US$ 1450 /ton to US$ 1455/ton.
 
PTA prices stayed stable in the Asian region. In S E Asian market, PTA prices remained unchanged and were quoted in the range of US$ 1025/ton to US$ 1030/ton. In F E Asian market, PTA prices were assessed at US$ 1020/ton. Prices of PTA imported from Taiwanese market surged up and were offered in the range of US$ 1015/ton to US$ 1020/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices stayed steady and were quoted in the range of RMB 7925/ton to RMB 7975/ton.
 
Ethylene prices showed mixed trend in the Asian region. In S E Asian market, Ethylene prices surged up and were offered in the range of US$ 1130/ton to US$ 1135/ton. In F E Asian region, Ethylene prices were offered at US$ 1075/ton. 
 
In U.S.A market, Ethylene prices went up and were offered in the range of 49.50 cents/pound to 50.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices remained unchanged in European international and domestic markets at US$ 1195/ton and € 1075/ton, respectively. 
 
MEG prices continued to be stable in Asia. In S E Asian region, MEG prices remained unchanged at US$ 1000/ton. In China market, MEG prices went down and were quoted in the range of US$ 995/ton to US$ 1000/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices stayed stable and were assessed in the range of RMB 7800/ton to RMB 7850/ton.
 
In S E Asian region, BG PET Chips prices remained unchanged in the range of US$ 1320/ton to US$ 1350/ton. In F E Asian market, selling offers were around US$ 1300/ton for export goods. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices were stable at RMB 9950/ton.
 
In Korean market, FG PET Chips prices stayed steady in the range of US$ 1190/ton to US$ 1230/ton. In Indian market, FOB based prices were quoted in the range of US$ 1230/ton to US$ 1270/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices were stable in the range of RMB 9975/ton to RMB 10025/ton.
 
PSF prices remained unchanged in the Asian market. In F E Asian market, PSF prices were quoted at US$ 1560/ton. In S E Asian market, PSF selling offers were assessed at US$ 1460/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices stayed stable and were offered in the range of RMB 10925/ton to RMB 10975/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, prices of Polyester POY, DTY and FDY stayed stable and were assessed at RMB 11350/ton, RMB 12600/ton and RMB 11300/ton, respectively. In export market, offers for POY, DTY and FDY remained unchanged at US$ 1535/ton, US$ 1695/ton, and US$ 1510/ton, respectively.
