PTA, Ethylene prices jump in Asian markets

Paraxylene (PX) prices showed mix trend in the Asian region. In S E Asian region, PX prices went down in the range of US$ 1430/ton to US$ 1435/ton. In F E Asian market, PX prices were stable at US$ 1430/ton. Prices of PX imported from Taiwanese market remained unchanged in the range of US$ 1450/ton to US$ 1455/ton.
 
PTA prices increased in Asian markets. In S E Asian market, PTA prices were unchanged in the range of US$ 1030/ton to US$ 1035/ton. In F E Asian market, PTA prices were assessed at US$ 1030/ton. Prices of PTA imported from Taiwanese market stayed steady in the range of US$ 1015/ton to US$ 1020/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices went down in the range of RMB 7900/ton to RMB 7950/ton.
 
Ethylene prices went up in Asian markets. In S E Asian market, Ethylene prices increased and were in the range of US$ 1145/ton to US$ 1150/ton. In F E Asian region, Ethylene prices were offered at US$ 1150/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices were stable in the range of 49.50 cents/pound to 50.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices surged in European international and domestic markets, and were assessed at US$ 1255/ton and € 1130/ton, respectively. 
 
MEG prices remained steady in Asian markets. In S E Asian region, MEG prices kept unchanged at US$ 1000/ton. In China market, MEG prices stayed stable in the range of US$ 995/ton to US$ 1000/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices remained steady in the range of RMB 7800/ton to RMB 7850/ton. 
 
In S E Asian region, BG PET Chips continued to be stable in the range of US$ 1320/ton to US$ 1350/ton. In F E Asian market, selling offers were around US$ 1300/ton for export goods. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices increased to RMB 9975/ton.
 
In Korean market, FG PET Chips prices remained unchanged in the range of US$ 1190/ton to US$ 1230/ton. In Indian market, FOB based prices were quoted in the range of US$ 1230/ton to US$ 1270/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices kept stable and were offered in the range of RMB 9925/ton to RMB 9975/ton.
 
PSF prices declined in Asian markets. In F E Asian market, PSF prices were quoted at US$ 1540/ton. In S E Asian market, PSF selling offers were assessed at US$ 1440/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices remained stable in the range of RMB 10825/ton to RMB 10875/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, prices of Polyester POY, DTY and FDY went up and were offered at RMB 11400/ton, RMB 12650/ton and RMB 11325/ton, respectively. In export market, offers for POY, DTY and FDY surged and were offered at US$ 1540/ton, US$ 1700/ton, and US$ 1515/ton, respectively.
