Sinopec announces August pre-offers for chips & PSF

Sinopec Group has announced its pre-offers of polyester chips and polyester staple fibre (PSF) for August contract.
The pre-offer prices for semi-dull chips, bright chips and industrial yarn grade chips are 10,100 Yuan/ton, while the price of dull chips is at 10,900 Yuan/ton.
In recent days, the number of transactions in polyester chips market has grown and mainstream price in terms of cash payment is around 10,100 Yuan/ton.
For 1.4D semi-dull PSF, the pre-offer for August contract has been fixed at 11,100 Yuan/ton, while the price for 1.2D bright PSF is adjusted to 11,600 Yuan/ton.
Last week, the prices of 1.4D semi-dull PSF and 1.2D semi-dull PSF were at 11,100 Yuan/ton, whereas the price of 1.2D bright PSF was at 11,600 Yuan/ton.
At present, 1.4D PSF is quoted in the range of 10,800-11,000 Yuan/ton in mainstream markets.
