The Concalve involved brainstorming by the corporate head, CEO of industrial houses, policy makers, producers groups, government officials and various other institutions connected with the handicrafts and handloom on aspects like sourcing of corporate gifts and souvenirs directly from the clusters, adoption of clusters and ways and means of giving inputs and facilities for development and innovation of motifs, designs and techniques so that Indian handicrafts and handloom strike a balance between ethnicity and contemporary and modern preferences. A seminar on market promotion of handicrafts & handlooms in organised retail sector was also organised.
