PIS: a new breakthrough in Korean textile industries

Lenzing, an Austrian company, offers Tencel and Modal blended eco-friendly fabrics and continues to participate in the exhibition. Moreover, German automobile, aerospace, healthcare, environment filter, and security related industrial textile manufacturers will participate and present advanced fibers and also will hold a seminar (SSTT: Sustainable Solution with Technical Textiles) and special consulting. 

An anticipated participation of JIANGSU HENGLI CHEMICAL FIBER from China along with 50 other textile companies in the PIS will be used as a bridgehead for the Korean market. In addition, various companies from Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Thailand, India, Indonesia, and other Asian countries will be the main Asian suppliers for the PIS. 
 
Meanwhile, ‘Preview in SEOUL 2012’ endeavors to sign a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with ‘Japan Creation’ to mutually promote the parties exhibition, to attract foreign buyers, and to exchange relevant information. Through this MOU, the two exhibitions expect to strengthen their position as a key sourcing base in Asia.
 
KOFOTI is actively engaged in attracting international textile firms, fashion industries, and apparel manufacturers in the Americas, Europe, China, Japan, and all over the world. 
 
In order to successfully invite international textile companies, KOTRA along with Shanghai International Trade Promotion Co., LTD. and CCPIT use synchronized cooperation to invite global enterprises and buying office representatives in Shanghai, Shenzhen, Hong Kong, and so on. 
 
Moreover, KOFOTI has chosen AVING (U.S.) as a media partner, a company which has global network with over 620 enterprises from 52 countries. Exhibitors and their items will be advertized in both domestic and international media to attract as many visitors as possible, maximizing the promotion endeavor. 
 
At the same time, information regarding ‘Preview in SEOUL 2012’ will be sent via online newsletter to offer additional news and updated information.
 
The executive vice chairman of KOFOTI, Mr. Dong-Soo Kim, said ‘review in SEOUL 2012’ will put an emphasis on the sustainable materials. During the remainder of the time until the exhibition begins, KOFOTI will try its best to attract and recruit globally well known Korean textile companies and buyers.
