PX & MEG prices surge in Asian markets

Paraxylene (PX) prices went up in the Asian region. In S E Asian region, PX prices increased in the range of US$ 1470/ton to US$ 1475/ton. In F E Asian market, PX prices were quoted at US$ 1465/ton. Prices of PX imported from Taiwanese market surged and were offered in the range of US$ 1480/ton to US$ 1485/ton.  
 
PTA prices surged in Asian markets. In S E Asian market, PTA prices went up in the range of US$ 1070/ton to US$ 1075/ton. In F E Asian market, PTA prices were quoted at US$ 1060/ton. Prices of PTA imported from Taiwanese market increased in the range of US$ 1050/ton to US$ 1055/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices went down in the range of RMB 8175/ton to RMB 8225/ton.
 
Ethylene prices showed mixed trend in Asian markets. In S E Asian market, Ethylene prices went up in the range of US$ 1330/ton to US$ 1335/ton. In F E Asian region, Ethylene prices were assessed at US$ 1315/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices went down in the range of 60.50 cents/pound to 61.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices kept stable in European international and domestic markets at US$ 1340/ton and € 1195/ton, respectively.
 
MEG prices went up in the Asian region. In S E Asian region, MEG prices surged and were offered at US$ 1070/ton. In China market, MEG prices went up in the range of US$ 1060/ton to US$ 1065/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices continued to be steady in the range of RMB 8175/ton to RMB 8225/ton.
 
In S E Asian region, BG PET Chips prices continued to be stable in the range of US$ 1320/ton to US$ 1350/ton. In F E Asian market, selling offers were around US$ 1300/ton for export goods. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices surged to RMB 10250/ton.
 
In Korean market, FG PET Chips prices remained steady in the range of US$ 1190/ton to US$ 1230/ton. In Indian market, FOB based prices were quoted in the range of US$ 1230/ton to US$ 1270/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices went up and were offered in the range of RMB 10100/ton to RMB 10150/ton.
 
PSF prices were steady in Asian markets. In F E Asian market, PSF prices were offered at US$ 1530/ton. In S E Asian market, PSF selling offers were assessed at US$ 1430/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices kept unchanged in the range of RMB 10725/ton to RMB 10775/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, Polyester POY, DTY and FDY prices remained unchanged at RMB 11150/ton, RMB 12600/ton and RMB 11100/ton, respectively. In export market, offers for POY and DTY declined and were offered at US$ 1500/ton and US$ 1690/ton, respectively, while FDY prices were steady at US$ 1480/ton.
