Another JFE-owned benzene plant located in Kasaoka, is currently operating at 70 percent capacity, a company official informed fibre2fashion.
The Chiba plant will go off-stream from September 13 and will remain shutdown till October 15, 2012, the official revealed.
He added by saying that the Kasaoke plant has already undergone maintenance in the month of March-April.
Both the benzene plants have a capacity of 110,000 tons per annum each.
