PSF, MEG & PX prices surge in Asian markets

Paraxylene (PX) prices went up in the Asian region. In S E Asian region, PX prices surged in the range of US$ 1585/ton to US$ 1590/ton. In F E Asian market, PX prices were offered at US$ 1580/ton. Prices of PX imported from Taiwanese market went down and were assessed in the range of US$ 1570/ton to US$ 1575/ton.    
 
PTA prices went up in Asian markets. In S E Asian market, PTA prices increased in the range of US$ 1120/ton to US$ 1125/ton. In F E Asian market, PTA prices were offered at US$ 1120/ton. Prices of PTA imported from Taiwanese market surged in the range of US$ 1085/ton to US$ 1090/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices moved up in the range of RMB 8500/ton to RMB 8550/ton.  
 
Ethylene prices showed mixed trend in the Asian region.  In S E Asian market, Ethylene prices surged in the range of US$ 1295/ton to US$ 1300/ton. In F E Asian region, Ethylene prices were assessed at US$ 1290/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices went down in the range of 57.00 cents/pound to 57.50 cents/pound. Ethylene prices increased in European international and domestic markets and were quoted at US$ 1400/ton and € 1205/ton, respectively.  
 
MEG prices surged in Asian markets. In S E Asian region, MEG prices increased and were assessed at US$ 1140/ton. In China market, MEG prices increased in the range of US$ 1115/ton to US$ 1120/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices went up in the range of RMB 8650/ton to RMB 8700/ton. 
 
In S E Asian region, BG PET Chips prices continued to be stable in the range of US$ 1320/ton to US$ 1350/ton. In F E Asian market, selling offers were around US$ 1300/ton for export goods. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices surged to RMB 10750/ton.
 
In Korean market, FG PET Chips prices remained steady in the range of US$ 1190/ton to US$ 1230/ton. In Indian market, FOB based prices were quoted in the range of US$ 1230/ton to US$ 1270/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices increased and were offered in the range of RMB 10525/ton to RMB 10575/ton.
 
PSF prices went up in Asian markets. In F E Asian market, PSF prices were offered at US$ 1540/ton. In S E Asian market, PSF selling offers were quoted at US$ 1440/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices went up in the range of RMB 11300/ton to RMB 11350/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, Polyester POY, DTY and FDY prices surged and were offered at RMB 11550/ton, RMB 12700/ton and RMB 11400/ton, respectively. In export market, offers for POY, DTY and FDY increased and were quoted at US$ 1565/ton, US$ 1710/ton and US$ 1535/ton, respectively.
