Nanjing Oriental operates CPL plant at low level

China’s Nanjing Oriental Company, which has an annual capacity to produce 200,000 tons of caprolactam (CPL), is currently operating at low level and the plant is producing about 250 tons of CPL per day.
The current production is mainly liquid CPL and supply from the plant is limited.
Nanjing’s August CPL settlement price was 18,900 Yuan/ton and the company has fixed its September pre-offer price also at 18,900 Yuan/ton.
