PX & PTA prices continue to slide in Asian markets

Paraxylene (PX) prices declined in Asian markets. In   S E Asian region, PX prices dropped down in the range of US$ 1485/ton to US$ 1490/ton. In F E Asian market, PX prices were quoted at US$ 1485/ton. Prices of PX imported from Taiwanese market declined and were offered in the range of US$ 1505/ton to US$ 1510/ton. 
 
PTA prices went down in the Asian region. In S E Asian market, PTA prices plunged down in the range of US$ 1070ton to US$ 1075/ton. In F E Asian market, PTA prices were offered at US$ 1070/ton. Prices of PTA imported from Taiwanese market went down in the range of US$ 1065/ton to US$ 1070/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices went up in the range of RMB 8290/ton to RMB 8340/ton.
 
Ethylene prices showed mixed trend in Asian markets. In S E Asian market, Ethylene prices surged in the range of US$ 1330/ton to US$ 1335/ton. In F E Asian region, Ethylene prices were offered at US$ 1280/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices declined in the range of 57.00 cents/pound to 57.50 cents/pound. Ethylene prices were steady in European international and domestic markets at US$ 1400/ton and € 1185/ton, respectively. 
 
MEG prices remained unchanged in the Asian region. In S E Asian region, MEG prices remained steady at US$ 1090/ton. In China market, MEG prices continued to be stable in the range of US$ 1080/ton to US$ 1085/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices declined in the range of RMB 8300/ton to RMB 8350/ton. 
 
In S E Asian region, BG PET Chips prices kept unchanged in the range of US$ 1320/ton to US$ 1350/ton. In F E Asian market, selling offers were around US$ 1300/ton for export goods. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices were stable at RMB 10650/ton.
 
In Korean market, FG PET Chips prices remained unchanged in the range of US$ 1190/ton to US$ 1230/ton. In Indian market, FOB based prices were quoted in the range of US$ 1230/ton to US$ 1270/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices were stable in the range of RMB 10400/ton to RMB 10450/ton.
 
PSF prices were unchanged in Asian markets. In F E Asian market, PSF prices were offered at US$ 1520/ton. In S E Asian market, PSF selling offers were quoted at US$ 1420/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices declined in the range of RMB 11100/ton to RMB 11150/ton. 
 
In the Chinese domestic market, Polyester POY, DTY and FDY prices remained unchanged and were offered at RMB 11450/ton, RMB 12700/ton and RMB 11400/ton, respectively. In export market, offers for POY, DTY and FDY were steady and were assessed at US$ 1550/ton, US$ 1710/ton and US$ 1525/ton, respectively.
