Chinese PTA spot market trends on Sept 26

In East China, purified terephthalic acid (PTA) spot market prices were around 8,400 Yuan/ton on September 26. Buyers inquired for price of around 8,300 Yuan/ton and discussions were around 8,350 Yuan/ton. Actual negotiations were few.
For Taiwan cargo, market offers of PTA were around US$ 1,080/ton, downstream manufacturers bid for price of around US$ 1,070/ton and actual negotiations took place in the price range of US$ 1,070-1,075/ton.
For Korean PTA, market price was in the range of US$ 1,065-1,070/ton, and downstream buyers bid in the range of US$ 1,055-1,060/ton. Few actual discussions centred around US$ 1,065/ton.
