At present, nylon chip prices are relatively stable in China, as the market lacks further upward momentum.

In Jiangsu and Zhejiang markets, inquires for high-end nylon POY 85D/24 are in the range of 24,500-25,500 Yuan/ton, in terms of six-month acceptance. Manufacturers are cautious in further hiking prices.

Offers for semi-dull FDY 70D/24, manufactured in Zhejiang and Jiangsu provinces, are in the range of 25,000-25,500 Yuan/ton, in terms of six-month acceptance.

For warp grade FDY, offers are slightly higher, with some offers being as high as 24,800 Yuan/ton.

Currently, most raw materials are trading at high level prices, and hence, manufacturers are firm in their offer price. Inquiries in mainstream market for FDY 40D are in the range of 27,000-27,500 Yuan / ton.

In East China market, offers for nylon staple fibre 1.5D are in the range of 22,500-23,000 Yuan/ton, in terms of cash payment. Prices are mostly firm, as demand for downstream products is moderate.
