Ethylene prices decline in US market

Paraxylene (PX) prices increased in the Asian region. In S E Asian region, PX prices surged in the range of US$ 1505/ton to US$ 1510/ton. In F E Asian market, PX prices were quoted at US$ 1505/ton. Prices of PX imported from Taiwanese market went up and were assessed in the range of US$ 1515/ton to US$ 1520/ton.     
 
PTA prices remained steady in Asian markets. In S E Asian market, PTA prices were stable in the range of US$ 1080/ton to US$ 1085/ton. In F E Asian market, PTA prices were offered at US$ 1080/ton. Prices of PTA imported from Taiwanese market kept unchanged in the range of US$ 1075/ton to US$ 1080/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices increased in the range of RMB 8325/ton to RMB 8350/ton.
 
Ethylene prices kept steady in the Asian region. In S E Asian market, Ethylene prices remained stable in the range of US$ 1380/ton to US$ 1385/ton. In F E Asian region, Ethylene prices were offered at US$ 1280/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices declined in the range of 59.00 cents/pound to 59.50 cents/pound. Ethylene prices remained unchanged in European international and domestic markets at US$ 1405/ton and € 1160/ton, respectively.    
 
MEG prices remained steady in Asian markets. In S E Asian region, MEG prices remained stable and were offered at US$ 1090/ton. In China market, MEG prices were unchanged in the range of US$ 1085/ton to US$ 1090/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices remained unchanged in the range of RMB 8250/ton to RMB 8300/ton.    
 
In S E Asian region, BG PET Chips prices stayed stable in the range of US$ 1340/ton to US$ 1370/ton. In F E Asian market, selling offers were around US$ 1320/ton for export goods. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices remained stable at RMB 10650/ton.    
 
In Korean market, FG PET Chips prices stayed steady in the range of US$ 1210/ton to US$ 1250/ton. In Indian market, FOB based prices were quoted in the range of US$ 1250/ton to US$ 1290/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices stayed stable and were assessed in the range of RMB 10400/ton to RMB 10450/ton.
 
PSF prices were steady in Asian markets. In F E Asian market, PSF prices were offered at US$ 1575/ton. In S E Asian market, PSF selling offers were assessed at US$ 1475/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices were steady in the range of RMB 11025/ton to RMB 11075/ton.  
 
In the Chinese domestic market, Polyester POY, DTY and FDY prices remained unchanged and were offered at RMB 11450/ton, RMB 12700/ton and RMB 11250/ton, respectively. In export market, offers for POY, DTY and FDY were steady at US$ 1550/ton, US$ 1710/ton and US$ 1500/ton, respectively.
