PX & PTA prices slide in Asian markets

Paraxylene (PX) prices declined in Asian markets. In S E Asian region, PX prices went down in the range of US$ 1515/ton to US$ 1520/ton. In F E Asian market, PX prices were quoted at US$ 1515/ton. Prices of PX imported from Taiwanese market surged and were quoted in the range of US$ 1540/ton to US$ 1545/ton.
 
PTA prices went down in the Asian region. In S E Asian market, PTA prices declined in the range of US$ 1075ton to US$ 1080/ton. In F E Asian market, PTA prices were quoted at US$ 1075/ton. Prices of PTA imported from Taiwanese market stayed steady in the range of US$ 1075/ton to US$ 1080/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices surged in the range of RMB 8325/ton to RMB 8375/ton.
 
Ethylene prices stayed stable in the Asian region. In S E Asian market, Ethylene prices remained unchanged in the range of US$ 1370/ton to US$ 1375/ton. In F E Asian region, Ethylene prices were offered at US$ 1275/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices stayed stable in the range of 57.00 cents/pound to 57.50 cents/pound. Ethylene prices surged in European international and domestic markets, and were quoted at US$ 1410/ton and € 1210/ton, respectively.    
 
MEG prices remained stable in Asian markets. In S E Asian region, MEG prices were steady at US$ 1090/ton. In China market, MEG prices remained stable in the range of US$ 1085/ton to US$ 1090/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices continued to be steady in the range of RMB 8250/ton to RMB 8300/ton.    
 
In S E Asian region, BG PET Chips prices continued to be stable in the range of US$ 1340/ton to US$ 1370/ton. In F E Asian market, selling offers were around US$ 1320/ton for export goods. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices stayed steady at RMB 10650/ton.    
 
In Korean market, FG PET Chips prices were steady in the range of US$ 1210/ton to US$ 1250/ton. In Indian market, FOB based prices were quoted in the range of US$ 1250/ton to US$ 1290/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices were stable in the range of RMB 10300/ton to RMB 10350/ton.
 
PSF prices were steady in Asian markets. In F E Asian market, PSF prices were assessed at US$ 1565/ton. In S E Asian market, PSF selling offers were quoted at US$ 1465/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices were steady in the range of RMB 10975/ton to RMB 11025/ton.  
 
In the Chinese domestic market, Polyester POY, DTY and FDY prices remained stable and were assessed at RMB 11350/ton, RMB 12700/ton and RMB 11250/ton, respectively. In export market, offers for POY, DTY and FDY continued to be steady and were offered at US$ 1530/ton, US$ 1710/ton and US$ 1500/ton, respectively.
