P-Xylene prices went down in Europe, while they surged up in Asia and US In the week ending October 6.

Market sources reported that ExxonMobil settled its Asian P-Xylene contract prices for October at US$ 1490/ton (CFR Asia), higher by US$ 40/ton as compared to its September settlement price.
