Ethylene prices decline in US; steady in Asia

Paraxylene (PX) prices increased in Asian markets. In   S E Asian region, PX prices went up in the range of US$ 1530/ton to US$ 1535/ton. In F E Asian market, PX prices were offered at US$ 1530/ton. Prices of PX imported from Taiwanese market surged and were quoted in the range of US$ 1540/ton to US$ 1545/ton.
 
PTA prices went up in the Asian region. In S E Asian market, PTA prices increased in the range of US$ 1100ton to US$ 1105/ton. In F E Asian market, PTA prices were assessed at US$ 1100/ton. Prices of PTA imported from Taiwanese market went down in the range of US$ 1080/ton to US$ 1085/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices surged in the range of RMB 8475/ton to RMB 8525/ton. 
 
Ethylene prices remained unchanged in the Asian region. In S E Asian market, Ethylene prices stayed steady in the range of US$ 1370/ton to US$ 1375/ton. In F E Asian region, Ethylene prices were offered at US$ 1275/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices went down in the range of 56.50 cents/pound to 57.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices remained stable in European international and domestic markets at US$ 1410/ton and € 1210/ton, respectively.    
 
MEG prices increased in Asian markets. In S E Asian region, MEG prices surged and were assessed at US$ 1120/ton. In China market, MEG prices went up in the range of US$ 1105/ton to US$ 1110/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices were stable in the range of RMB 8300/ton to RMB 8350/ton.    
 
In S E Asian region, BG PET Chips prices surged in the range of US$ 1420/ton to US$ 1450/ton, but some deals were negotiated in the price range of US$ 1410/ton to US$ 1430/ton. In F E Asian market, selling offers were assessed in the range US$ 1390/ton to US$ 1420/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices went down to RMB 10475/ton.    
 
In Korean market, FG PET Chips prices increased in the range of US$ 1290/ton to US$ 1330/ton. In Indian market, FOB based prices were offered in the range of US$ 1320/ton to US$ 1360/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices surged and were assessed in the range of RMB 10375/ton to RMB 10425/ton.         
 
PSF prices were steady in Asian markets. In F E Asian market, PSF prices were assessed at US$ 1565/ton. In S E Asian market, PSF selling offers were quoted at US$ 1465/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices were stable in the range of RMB 10975/ton to RMB 11025/ton.  
 
In the Chinese domestic market, Polyester POY, DTY and FDY prices were stable at RMB 11350/ton, RMB 12700/ton and RMB 11250/ton, respectively. In export market, offers for POY, DTY and FDY kept unchanged and were quoted at US$ 1530/ton, US$ 1710/ton and US$ 1500/ton, respectively.
