ShanghaiTex 2013 to have digital printing machinery zone

Serving China's textile industry for 30 years, The 16th International Exhibition on Textile Industry (ShanghaiTex 2013) will be held at Shanghai New International Expo Center, Pudong, Shanghai, PR China on June 10-13, 2013. A new theme named "Digital Printing Machinery Zone" will be launched in response to the rising demand from industry.

A Shining Platform for Digital Printing Industry

In recent decade, digital technology has been applied widely in the printing textile industry and it grows at the quickest rate among other traditional printing methods. Digital textile printing technology supports versatility, quick delivery, short printing runs, cost effectiveness and especially the fast fashion market.

More importantly, it promotes green manufacturing production with less pollution compared with conventional printing process. With new technology and productivity advancements, digital direct-to-fabric printing has become one of the most used manufacturing processes for imaging finished textiles. In 2010, GIA (Global Industry Analysts Inc.) released a report on world textile printing production. It forecasted that the global production of printed textiles would reach 32 billion square meters by the year 2015. Analysts in general also predicted that 15% of global market for fabric printing would be made digitally within the next 5 years.

To cater for this growing market trend, ShanghaiTex 2013 will bring leading enterprises of this kind which include Epson, Mimaki, Reggiani, J.Zimmer, Konica Minolta, Kornit Digital, Print Pretty, Color ICT., etc to participate at the "Digital Printing Machinery Zone" for the display of the latest digital textile printing technology.

Among the exhibitors, Epson (China) Co., Ltd. is a global leading digital imaging enterprise and renowned for high quality and environmental friendly products. To capture the market share of digital textile printing market, Epson has worked with Italy's For.Tex S.R.L., this collaboration will bring together Epson's core digital printing technology with For.Tex's professionalism on textile printing, aiming at expanding the market for digital textile printing. In ShanghaiTex 2013, Epson will display their new digital textile products.

Nanjing PrintPretty Digital Technology Co., Ltd is a professional company which is devoted to the technology development and production of digital textile printing equipment. PrintPretty is proud to independently develop digital printing control technology, which is the core of digital printing equipment. PrintPretty has a series of products for the textile digital textile printing industry. They are belt system digital textile printers and digital direct inject textile printers.
