MEG, PX & PTA prices increase in Asian markets

Paraxylene (PX) prices surged in the Asian region. In S E Asian region, PX prices went up in the range of US$ 1545/ton to US$ 1550/ton. In F E Asian market, PX prices were quoted at US$ 1520/ton. Prices of PX imported from Taiwanese market went down and were assessed in the range of US$ 1530/ton to US$ 1535/ton.
 
PTA prices increased in Asian markets. In S E Asian market, PTA prices surged in the range of US$ 1085/ton to US$ 1090/ton. In F E Asian market, PTA prices were offered at US$ 1090/ton. Prices of PTA imported from Taiwanese market went down and were quoted in the range of US$ 1080/ton to US$ 1085/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices went up in the range of RMB 8075/ton to RMB 8125/ton.
 
Ethylene prices stayed stable in the Asian region.  In S E Asian market, Ethylene prices remained steady in the range of US$ 1275/ton to US$ 1280/ton. In F E Asian region, Ethylene prices were offered at US$ 1230/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices were stable in the range of 54.00 cents/pound to 54.50 cents/pound. Ethylene prices remained unchanged in European international and domestic markets, and were quoted at US$ 1340/ton and € 1160/ton, respectively.     
 
MEG prices went up in Asian markets. In S E Asian region, MEG prices surged and were quoted at US$ 1065/ton. In China market, MEG prices went down in the range of US$ 1050/ton to US$ 1055/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices continued to be stable in the range of RMB 7825/ton to RMB 7875/ton.  
 
In S E Asian region, BG PET Chips prices maintained steady trend and were quoted in the range of US$ 1420/ton to US$ 1450/ton, and some deals were negotiated in the range of US$ 1410/ton to US$ 1430/ton. In F E Asian market, selling offers were assessed in the range US$ 1380/ton to US$ 1420/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices went down to RMB 10075/ton.    
 
In Korean market, FG PET Chips prices remained stable in the range of US$ 1290/ton to US$ 1330/ton. In Indian market, FOB based prices were assessed in the range of US$ 1320/ton to US$ 1360/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices declined and were offered in the range of RMB 9875/ton to RMB 9925/ton.
 
PSF prices stayed stable in Asian region. In F E Asian region, PSF prices were offered at 1515/ton. In S E Asian market, PSF selling were quoted at US$ 1415/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices remained unchanged and were quoted in the range of RMB 10575/ton to RMB 10625/ton.  
 
In the Chinese domestic market, Polyester POY, DTY and FDY prices kept steady and were quoted at RMB 10950/ton, RMB 12450/ton and RMB 11000/ton, respectively. In export market, offers for POY, DTY and FDY remained stable and were assessed at US$ 1480/ton, US$ 1680/ton and US$ 1475/ton, respectively.
