Asian PSF & MEG markets show uptrend

Paraxylene (PX) prices stayed steady in the Asian region. In S E Asian region, PX prices were unchanged in the range of US$ 1555/ton to US$ 1560/ton. In F E Asian market, PX prices were offered at US$ 1550/ton. Prices of PX imported from Taiwanese market stayed stable and were quoted in the range of US$ 1560/ton to US$ 1565/ton.  
 
PTA prices remained unchanged in Asian markets. In S E Asian market, PTA prices were stable in the range of US$ 1100/ton to US$ 1105/ton. In F E Asian market, PTA prices were offered at US$ 1105/ton. Prices of PTA imported from Taiwanese market were steady in the range of US$ 1095/ton to US$ 1100/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices remained stable in the range of RMB 8125/ton to RMB 8175/ton.
 
Ethylene prices showed mixed trend in Asian markets. In S E Asian market, Ethylene prices declined in the range of US$ 1170/ton to US$ 1175/ton. In F E Asian region, Ethylene prices were assessed at US$ 1210/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices remained steady in the range of 51.00 cents/pound to 51.50 cents/pound. Ethylene prices remained stable in European international and domestic markets, and were offered at US$ 1280/ton and € 1115/ton, respectively.        
 
MEG prices surged in the Asian region. In S E Asian region, MEG prices increased and were quoted at US$ 1065/ton. In China market, MEG prices continued to be stable in the range of US$ 1030/ton to US$ 1035/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices stayed stable in the range of RMB 7650/ton to RMB 7700/ton. 
 
In S E Asian region, BG PET Chips prices were stable in the range of US$ 1420/ton to US$ 1450/ton and some deals were discussed in the range of US$ 1410/ton to US$ 1430/ton. In F E Asian market, selling offers were assessed in the range US$ 1380/ton to US$ 1420/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices remained unchanged at RMB 9975/ton.     
 
In Korean market, FG PET Chips prices were stable in the range of US$ 1290/ton to US$ 1330/ton. In Indian market, FOB based prices were assessed in the range of US$ 1320/ton to US$ 1360/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices kept unchanged and were offered in the range of RMB 9825/ton to RMB 9875/ton.
 
PSF prices increased in the Asian region. In F E Asian region, PSF prices were assessed at 1520/ton. In S E Asian market, PSF prices were offered at US$ 1420/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices increased and were quoted in the range of RMB 10575/ton to RMB 10625/ton.  
 
In the Chinese domestic market, Polyester POY, DTY and FDY prices remained stable and were quoted at RMB 10700/ton, RMB 12250/ton and RMB 10850/ton, respectively. In export market, offers for POY, DTY and FDY were steady at US$ 1445/ton, US$ 1655/ton and US$ 1455/ton, respectively.
