Chinese ACN market continues to move up

China’s domestic acrylonitrile (ACN) market is continuing to rise slightly amid steady offers from sellers.
The offers from mainstream ACN manufacturers continue to move up due to higher cost of production and limited supply of imported cargo at lower price.
However, the scope for further rise in prices seems to be limited owing to lack of positive push from demand side.
At East China ports, ACN prices are currently in the range of 12,200-12,300 yuan/ton, in terms of shipment by buyer.
In Northeast China, one major ACN manufacturer has listed price at 12,500 yuan/ton, in terms of delivering goods to Shandong.
Meanwhile, offers by traders in Shandong market are continuously steady in the range of 12,000-12,100 yuan/ton, in terms of shipment made by sellers.
