Chinese ACN market under slight consolidation

China’s acrylonitrile (ACN) market is showing slight consolidation trend in recent time. Although manufacturers are extending their higher-level offers, buyers are adopting a wait-and-watch approach and acrylonitrile market is slow at present time.
Domestic acrylonitrile manufacturers are currently making offers in the range of 12,200-13,000 yuan/ton, but delivery is limited.
In Shandong province, market negotiations for acrylonitrile are currently in the range of 13,400-13,500 yuan/ton for spot goods, in terms of shipment by seller.
At the ports in East China, spot prices of ACN are currently in the range of 13,400-13,600 yuan/ton, in terms of cash payment and shipment on buyer’s part, but several buyers prefer to wait and observe the market trend. Currently, market transactions are in the range of 13300-13500 yuan/ton.
