Chinese acrylonitrile prices remain steady

The offers from acrylonitrile (ACN) manufacturers are currently steady in Chinese domestic market. However, buyers are adopting a wait-and-watch approach.
At present, spot offers for ACN are in the range of 13,500-13,700 yuan/ton, in terms of shipment on buyer’s part. Actual transactions are in the range of 13,400-13,500 yuan/ton, but some small orders are being traded at slightly higher prices.
Meanwhile, acrylonitirle manufacturers have increased their offer price to 12,500-13,300 yuan/ton. Accordingly, traders in Shandong market have raised their ACN quotation to 13,600-13,800 yuan/ton. However, discussions remain moderate.
