Textiles tenants expanding their showroom space at the 7 West New York building include: IMG Marketing (pet fashion accessories and bedding); Adams & Hartford (gift, pillows and bedding); Cosmic, Inc, Teodora Design (gift, pillows and bedding, pet fashion accessories); Creative Bath (bath collections); Sam Salem & Son (pillows and begging); and Suyra Rugs (area rugs).

At 230 Fifth Avenue, new textiles tenants include Better Trends (braided rugs); EKE USA (bedding, pillows, towels and bathrobes); and H&M Home Designs (window treatments and curtains).

Several educational seminars and social events will supplement Market Week activities. Buyer focused events and amenities at 7W include complimentary lunch vouchers on selected days, a buyer’s lounge with complimentary coffee, periodicals, hi-speed internet and goodie bags, showroom specials (including International and Made in the USA day), product launches, extended shopping hours and promotions. 230 Fifth Avenue will offer complimentary breakfast and lunch, promotional giveaways and showroom receptions.

NYIGF will host two special events on Monday, January 28. At 6:15PM in the Javits Center, Home Textiles Today editor Jennifer Marks will announce the winner of the magazine’s “America’s Next Great Home Textiles” competition. At 7:30PM, NYIGF’s “A Night on Broadway” features specially-priced tickets to Disney’s NEWSIES at the Nederlander Theatre.

Throughout Home Textiles Market Week, buyers and suppliers can enjoy free admission to the The Museum at FIT (Fashion Institute of Technology), upon presentation of a winter 2013 badge.

Educational programming offered at NYIGF during Market Week includes two relevant seminars: “Fashion Forward – How Apparel Trends Impact Home Design” presented by Home Accents Today on Saturday, January 26, at Pier 94; and “Color Pulse 2014: From Theory to Selection,” presented by New York’s Chapter of the International Furnishings & Design Association (IFDA) on Monday, January 28, at the Javits Center.

The Home Textiles Market Week “Best New Products” Awards will recognize excellence in four categories – Bath, Bed, Dining and Home Accessories – along with one overall “Best of Market distinction. Judging will be conducted by a panel of trade and consumer editors on Tuesday, January 29, at the Javits Center.
