Ethylene prices rise in European & Southeast Asian markets

Paraxylene (PX) prices increased in the Asian region. In S E Asian region, PX prices went up in the range of US$ 1660/ton to US$ 1665/ton. In F E Asian market, PX prices were quoted at US$ 1650/ton. Prices of PX imported from Taiwanese market surged and were offered in the range of US$ 1655/ton to US$ 1660/ton.
 
PTA prices surged in Asian markets. In S E Asian market, PTA prices went up in the range of US$ 1180/ton to US$ 1185/ton. In F E Asian market, PTA prices were assessed at US$ 1190/ton. Prices of PTA imported from Taiwanese market increased and were offered in the range of US$ 1175/ton to US$ 1180/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices increased in the range of RMB 8550/ton to RMB 8600/ton.
 
Ethylene prices showed mixed trend in the Asian region. In S E Asian market, Ethylene prices surged in the range of US$ 1300/ton to US$ 1305/ton. In F E Asian region, Ethylene prices were quoted at US$ 1195/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices were steady in the range of 59.50 cents/pound to 60.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices increased in European international and domestic markets, and were offered at US$ 1390/ton and € 1060/ton, respectively.
 
MEG prices increased in the Asian region. In S E Asian region, MEG prices surged and were offered at US$ 1210/ton. In China market, MEG prices stayed stable in the range of US$ 1195/ton to US$ 1200/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices went up in the range of RMB 9100/ton to RMB 9150/ton. 
 
In S E Asian region, BG PET Chips prices were stable in the range of US$ 1470/ton to US$ 1520/ton and some deals were negotiated in the range of US$ 1470/ton to US$ 1510/ton. In F E Asian market, selling offers were assessed in the range US$ 1440/ton to US$ 1480/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices remained steady at RMB 10600/ton. 
 
In Korean market, FG PET Chips prices were stable in the range of US$ 1340/ton to US$ 1370/ton. In Indian market, FOB based prices were quoted in the range of US$ 1350/ton to US$ 1390/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices kept stable and were offered in the range of RMB 10400/ton to RMB 10450/ton.
 
PSF prices increased in the Asian region. In F E Asian region, PSF prices were quoted at US$ 1675/ton. In S E Asian market, PSF prices were quoted at US$ 1575/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices increased and were offered in the range of RMB 11525/ton to RMB 11575/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, Polyester POY, DTY and FDY prices increased and were quoted at RMB 11650/ton, RMB 12900/ton and RMB 12025/ton, respectively. In export market, offers for POY, DTY and FDY increased to US$ 1610/ton, US$ 1770/ton and US$ 1650/ton, respectively.
