Paraxylene prices dip in Asian region

Paraxylene (PX) prices went down in the Asian region. In S E Asian region, PX prices dipped in the range of US$ 1675/ton to US$ 1680/ton. In F E Asian market, PX prices were offered at US$ 1670/ton. Prices of PX imported from Taiwanese market increased and were offered in the range of US$ 1695/ton to US$ 1700/ton.     
 
PTA prices went down in Asian markets. In S E Asian market, PTA prices declined in the range of US$ 1200/ton to US$ 1205/ton. In F E Asian market, PTA prices were offered at US$ 1210/ton. Prices of PTA imported from Taiwanese market inched up in the range of US$ 1210/ton to US$ 1215/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices remained stable in the range of RMB 8925ton to RMB 8975/ton.
 
Ethylene prices surged in the Asian region. In S E Asian market, Ethylene prices shot up in the range of US$ 1350/ton to US$ 1355/ton. In F E Asian region, Ethylene prices were offered at US$ 1210/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices remained stable in the range of 62.50 cents/pound to 63.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices were stable in European international and domestic market at US$ 1400/ton and € 1140/ton, respectively.           
 
MEG prices went down in the Asian region. In S E Asian region, MEG prices declined and were assessed at US$ 1200/ton. In China market, MEG prices remained unchanged in the range of US$ 1210/ton to US$ 1215/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices went down in the range of RMB 8900/ton to RMB 8950/ton. 
 
In S E Asian region, prices of BG PET Chips remained stable in the range of US$ 1570/ton to US$ 1620/ton and some deals were discussed at around US$ 1560/ton to US$ 1600/ton. In F E Asian market, selling offers were in the range US$ 1540/ton to US$ 1580/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices were steady at RMB 11500/ton.     
 
In Korean market, FG PET Chips prices remained unchanged in the range of US$ 1440/ton to US$ 1470/ton. In Indian market, FOB based prices were quoted in the range of US$ 1450/ton to US$ 1490/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices surged and were offered in the range of RMB 11125/ton to RMB 11175/ton.         
 
PSF prices remained stable in the Asian region. In F E Asian region, PSF prices were assessed at 1700/ton. In S E Asian market, PSF prices were quoted at US$ 1600/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices stayed stable and were quoted in the range of RMB 11775/ton to RMB 11825/ton.  
 
In the Chinese domestic market, Polyester POY, DTY and FDY prices remained unchanged and were quoted at RMB 11800/ton, RMB 12975/ton, and RMB 12250 respectively. In export market, prices for POY, DTY, and FDY were stable at US$ 1615/ton and US$ 1770/ton, and FDY US$ 1670/ton respectively.
