Turkey Pavilion to exhibit new fabrics at Texworld USA

The 2013 winter edition of Texworld USA will feature a new Turkey Pavilion. From January 14 to 16, ten companies and associations will present their new fabrics in a fully booked exhibition hall at the Javits Convention Center in New York City.

Turkey is a major apparel sourcing nation and the Turkey Pavilion adds to the diversity of the trade show with currently 240 confirmed exhibitors from 16 countries. The Turkey Pavilion is sponsored by UTIB, the Uludag Textile Exporters Association based in Turkey.

“Turkey is the largest textile producer in Europe as well as an important cotton and synthetic fiber producer. We export middle to high end fashion fabrics to more than 180 countries and trade zones,” says Mr. Hilmi GÜLCEMAL, Member of Board of UTIB. “At Texworld USA, leading Turkish companies will show their unique and high quality products which are often available in large quantities and within weeks.”

Texworld USA is the largest sourcing event in North America for apparel fabric buyers, R&D and product development specialists, designers, merchandisers and overseas sourcing professionals.

Texworld USA is co-located with the International Apparel Sourcing Show.

The Turkish companies to be featured at Texworld USA are:

Berra Tekstil, Booth 473

Founded 2002. Berra Textile aims to be the best which served all the products and services ensure customer satisfaction in Turkey and foreign markets. Berra Textile is exhibiting organic fabrics, single jersey, lycra jersey, jacquard jersey, pique, lacoste, cardigan, yarn dyed, interlock, rib, camisole, two yarn and three thread at Texworld USA.

BZ Jakarli Dokuma Booth 577

Grup Tekstil Booth 575

Kotonteks Tekstil Booth 674

Current capacity of Kotonteks is 10 million meters per year in yarn-dyed and plain dyed woven fabrics owning the last technology machinery in its two plants in an area of more than 20.000 square meters in Bursa Demirtas Industrial Region.
