Asian PX & Ethylene markets show mixed trends

Paraxylene (PX) prices showed mixed trend in Asian markets. In S E Asian region, PX prices stayed stable and were offered in the range of US$ 1650/ton to US$ 1655/ton. In F E Asian market, PX prices were quoted at US$ 1635/ton. Prices of PX imported from Taiwanese market kept unchanged and were assessed in the range of US$ 1660/ton to US$ 1665/ton.
 
PTA prices declined in the Asian region. In S E Asian market, PTA prices went down and were quoted in the range of US$ 1175/ton to US$ 1180/ton. In F E Asian market, PTA prices were offered at US$ 1190/ton. Prices of PTA imported from Taiwanese market remained unchanged and were offered in the range of US$ 1190/ton to US$ 1195/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices stayed steady and were assessed in the range of RMB 8775/ton to RMB 8825/ton.
 
Asian Ethylene markets showed mixed trend. In S E Asian market, Ethylene prices surged and were quoted in the range of US$ 1375/ton to US$ 1380/ton. In F E Asian region, Ethylene prices were assessed at US$ 1265/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices remained steady and were offered in the range of 64.50 cents/pound to 65.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices were steady in European international and domestic markets, and were offered at US$ 1440/ton and € 1140/ton, respectively.
 
MEG prices went down in Asia. In S E Asian region, MEG prices plunged down and were offered at US$ 1180/ton. In China market, MEG prices were steady in the range of US$ 1180/ton to US$ 1185/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices were offered in the range of RMB 8850/ton to RMB 8900/ton.
 
In S E Asian region, BG PET Chips prices continued to be steady in the range of US$ 1570/ton to US$ 1620/ton and some deals were discussed in the range of US$ 1560/ton to US$ 1600/ton. In F E Asian market, selling offers were around US$ 1540/ton to US$ 1580/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices were steady at RMB 11300/ton.
 
In Korean market, FG PET Chips prices remained steady in the range of US$ 1440/ton to US$ 1470/ton. In Indian market, FOB based prices were quoted in the range of US$ 1450/ton to US$ 1490/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices were steady in the range of RMB 11100/ton to RMB 11150/ton.
 
PSF prices declined in Asian markets. In F E Asian market, PSF prices were offered at US$ 1685/ton. In S E Asian market, PSF selling offers were assessed at US$ 1585/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices remained steady and were offered in the range of RMB 11700/ton to RMB 11750/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, Polyester POY, DTY and FDY prices remained steady and were assessed at RMB 11800/ton, RMB 12975/ton and RMB 12200/ton, respectively. In export market, offers for POY, DTY and FDY decreased and were offered at US$ 11610/ton, US$ 1760/ton and US$ 1655/ton, respectively.
