With the recent addition of 160,000 tons/year of differentiated viscose staple fibre production capacity, China’s SanYou Group XingDa Chemical Fibre Co. Ltd has become the world’s number one in terms of synthetic fibre production capacity.

Located in Nanpu Development Zone, TangShan, in China’s Hebei province, XingDa Chemical Fibre is a subsidiary of TangShan SanYou Group Co. Ltd.

The company has invested about 1.39 billion yuan for second phase of the expansion project to construct production line with an annual capacity of 160,000 tons/year, which has raised the firm’s total annual fibre production capacity to 450,000 tons/year, the highest for any company in the world.

The second phase of expansion project has two production lines. The first production line went operational on November 26 last year and the second line has recently completed its pilot production.

SanYou also has the distinction of having a single production line with the largest capacity to produce optimal quality of viscose staple fibre in the world.

TangShan SanYou Group Co. Ltd. is one of the 520 key state-owned enterprises and listed in the rank of 10 top backbone corporations in Hebei province.

The Group has four subsidiary companies and its products are sold to 26 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions in China and 30 countries and regions in Asia, Africa, Latin America and Australia.
