S-Oil plans turnaround of aromatics line in April

South Korea-based S-Oil has planned for turnaround of one of its aromatics line in April 2013.
“A maintenance turnaround of line no - 2 of the aromatics plant has been scheduled in April 2013 and will remain shutdown for around 45 days”, an S-Oil official told fibre2fashion.
“We undertake maintenance of the plant dependent on the condition of the lines”, he said when quizzed on the reasons for the turnaround.
The aromatics plant located in Onsan has a paraxylene (PX) production capacity of 1 million tons per year and benzene capacity of 30,000 tons per annum.
