Asian Paraxylene & MEG markets show bearish trend

Paraxylene (PX) prices declined in Asian markets. In S E Asian region, PX prices went down and were offered in the range of US$ 1560/ton to US$ 1565/ton. In F E Asian market, PX prices were offered at US$ 1540/ton. Prices of PX imported from Taiwanese market surged and were offered in the range of US$ 1575/ton to US$ 1580/ton.
 
PTA prices remained unchanged in the Asian region. In S E Asian market, PTA prices stayed steady and were assessed in the range of US$ 1120/ton to US$ 1125/ton. In F E Asian market, PTA prices were quoted at US$ 1130/ton. Prices of PTA imported from Taiwanese market stayed steady and were offered in the range of US$ 1125/ton to US$ 1130/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices went down and were quoted in the range of RMB 8100/ton to RMB 8150/ton.
 
Ethylene prices stayed steady in Asian markets. In S E Asian market, Ethylene prices were stable and were offered in the range of US$ 1395/ton to US$ 1400/ton. In F E Asian region, Ethylene prices remained unchanged at US$ 1355/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices were steady in the range of 63.00 cents/pound to 63.50 cents/pound. Ethylene prices were steady in the European international and domestic markets at US$ 1525/ton and € 1175/ton, respectively.      
 
MEG prices declined in Asia. In S E Asian region, MEG prices were offered at US$ 1045/ton. In Chinese international market, MEG prices went down and were offered in the range of US$ 1045/ton to US$ 1050/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices dropped and were offered in the range of RMB 7900/ton to RMB 7950/ton.
 
In S E Asian region, BG PET Chips prices maintained a stable trend in the range of US$ 1570/ton to US$ 1600/ton and some deals were discussed in the range of US$ 1560/ton to US$ 1590/ton. In F E Asian market, selling offers were between US$ 1550/ton to US$ 1580/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices remained steady at RMB 10850/ton.
 
In Korean market, FG PET Chips prices were stable in the range of US$ 1410/ton to US$ 1430/ton. In Indian market, FOB based prices were offered in the range of US$ 1420/ton to US$ 1460/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices were unchanged in the range of RMB 10500/ton to RMB 10550/ton.
 
PSF prices were steady in Asian markets. In F E Asian market, PSF prices were assessed at US$ 1620/ton. In S E Asian market, PSF selling prices were offered at US$ 1520/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices remained unchanged and were offered in the range of RMB 11125/ton to RMB 11175/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, Polyester POY, DTY and FDY prices were stable and were offered at RMB 11325/ton, RMB 12725/ton, and RMB 11650/ton, respectively. In export market, offers for POY, DTY, and FDY remained unchanged and were quoted at US$ 1560/ton, US$ 1750/ton, and US$ 1595/ton, respectively.
