PX, PTA & PSF prices fall in Asian markets

Paraxylene (PX) prices declined in Asian markets. In S E Asian region, PX prices went down and were assessed in the range of US$ 1545/ton to US$ 1550/ton. In F E Asian market, PX prices were quoted at US$ 1525/ton. Prices of PX imported from Taiwanese market increased and were offered in the range of US$ 1560/ton to US$ 1565/ton.
 
PTA prices plunged down in the Asian region. In S E Asian market, PTA prices declined and were assessed in the range of US$ 1095/ton to US$ 1100/ton. In F E Asian market, PTA prices were quoted at US$ 1100/ton. Prices of PTA imported from Taiwanese market declined and were assessed in the range of US$ 1120/ton to US$ 1125/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices surged and were assessed in the range of RMB 7950/ton to RMB 7975/ton.  
 
Ethylene prices stayed stable in Asian markets. In S E Asian market, Ethylene prices remained unchanged and were offered in the range of US$ 1345/ton to US$ 1350/ton. In F E Asian region, Ethylene prices remained steady at US$ 1265/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices surged and were offered in the range of 64.50 cents/pound to 65.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices were steady in the European international and domestic markets, and were assessed at US$ 1500/ton and € 1150/ton, respectively.
 
MEG prices surged in Asia. In S E Asian region, MEG prices were offered at US$ 1035/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices declined and were quoted in the range of US$ 1025/ton to US$ 1030/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices increased and were offered in the range of RMB 7750/ton to RMB 7800/ton.
 
In S E Asian region, BG PET Chips prices went down in the range of US$ 1500/ton to US$ 1540/ton and some deals were discussed in the range of US$ 1490/ton to US$ 1530/ton. In F E Asian market, selling offers were between US$ 1480/ton to US$ 1530/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices stayed steady at RMB 10500/ton.
 
In Korean market, FG PET Chips prices declined in the range of US$ 1330/ton to US$ 1350/ton. In Indian market, FOB based prices were assessed in the range of US$ 1360/ton to US$ 1380/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices maintained a steady trend in the range of RMB 10300/ton to RMB 10350/ton.
 
PSF prices dropped in Asian markets. In F E Asian market, PSF prices were offered at US$ 1525/ton. In S E Asian market, PSF selling prices were quoted at US$ 1465/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices declined and were quoted in the range of RMB 10500/ton to RMB 10550/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, Polyester POY, DTY and FDY prices fell and were assessed at RMB 11050/ton, RMB 12550/ton, and RMB 11400/ton, respectively. In export market, offers for POY, DTY, and FDY plunged down and were quoted at US$ 1520/ton, US$ 1725/ton, and US$ 1560/ton, respectively.
