Asian PX, MEG & PSF prices show downward trend

Paraxylene (PX) prices went down in Asian markets. In S E Asian region, PX prices declined and were assessed in the range of US$ 1475/ton to US$ 1480/ton. In F E Asian market, PX prices were quoted at US$ 1455/ton. Prices of PX imported from Taiwanese market declined and were assessed in the range of US$ 1480/ton to US$ 1485/ton.
 
PTA prices showed a downward trend in the Asian region. In S E Asian market, PTA prices were offered in the range of US$ 1080/ton to US$ 1085/ton. In F E Asian market, PTA prices were assessed at US$ 1080/ton. Prices of PTA imported from Taiwanese market decreased and were quoted in the range of US$ 1085/ton to US$ 1090/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices declined and were assessed in the range of RMB 7800/ton to RMB 7850/ton.
 
Ethylene prices remained stable in Asian markets. In S E Asian market, Ethylene prices were offered in the range of US$ 1370/ton to US$ 1375/ton. In F E Asian region, Ethylene prices were assessed at US$ 1210/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices stayed stable and were offered in the range of 64.00 cents/pound to 64.50 cents/pound. Ethylene prices remained stable in the European international and domestic markets, and were assessed at US$ 1440/ton and € 1125/ton, respectively.      
 
MEG prices plunged in Asia. In S E Asian region, MEG prices were offered at US$ 995/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices declined and were quoted in the range of US$ 1010/ton to US$ 1015/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices inched down and were assessed in the range of RMB 7335/ton to RMB 7385/ton.
 
In S E Asian region, BG PET Chips prices declined in the range of US$ 1500/ton to US$ 1550/ton and some deals were discussed in the range of US$ 1500/ton to US$ 1530/ton. In F E Asian market, selling offers were between US$ 1430/ton and US$ 1480/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices went down and were offered at RMB 10350/ton.
 
In Korean market, FG PET Chips prices remained unchanged in the range of US$ 1270/ton to US$ 1290/ton. In Indian market, FOB based prices were assessed in the range of US$ 1300/ton to US$ 1320/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices declined in the range of RMB 9825/ton to RMB 9875/ton.
 
PSF prices dipped in Asian markets. In F E Asian market, PSF prices were offered at US$ 1485/ton. In S E Asian market, PSF selling prices were offered at US$ 1385/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices fell and were assessed in the range of RMB 10225/ton to RMB 10275/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, Polyester POY, DTY and FDY prices remained stable and were assessed at RMB 10850/ton, RMB 12400/ton, and RMB 11150/ton, respectively. In export market, offers for POY, DTY, and FDY declined and were quoted at US$ 1490/ton, US$ 1700/ton, and US$ 1520/ton, respectively.
